I am SO excited to be a part of the CAREGIVER INCENTIVE PROJECT.

Michigan made, raised in Portage, but just recently moved back to the mainland, from the smallest island in Hawaii.

I grew up with a passion for people, and a heart for helping. I studied special education and Spanish at Western Michigan University, and was involved with a handful of non-profit organizations. I was the chapter president of my sorority and was also a member of the cheerleading team for the duration of my four years at WMU, go broncs!

After graduation I wasn’t quite sure what was next for me, so I decided to pack up and travel as much as I could. Visiting places like Colombia, Japan, and Kaua’i, which I eventually ended up calling home for a few years! On Kaua’i I developed a newfound love for surfing, deep sea fishing, and hiking… while maintaining my love for humankind, volunteering and teaching.

Hawaii is beautiful, and if you get the chance to visit, I cannot recommend it enough! However for me, home is where the heart is… and all my heartbeats are right here, in the great state of Michigan. I am looking forward to being apart of the growth of CIP, the shared wealth of knowledge we bring to the community, and to have made such genuine, and lifelong friendships.
