Before beginning her career at her alma mater, Bunting served as the Marketing Manager at Innovate Marquette SmartZone and Invent@NMU promoting economic development in Marquette County and supporting small business and invention ideas.
Bunting graduated from Northern Michigan University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Productions and New Technology and Public Relations and will begin pursuing her Master’s Degree at NMU in the fall. She resides in Marquette with her husband, Lee, and her 6-month old son, Beckham.
It was during her time with Invent@NMU that Bunting first met the CIP team and she is excited to continue to bring her nearly ten years of experience to CIP, advising on marketing and communications campaigns to benefit the nonprofit.
